About the role

Learning objectives: By the end of the internship, the intern will: • Be familiar with the different stages of the training cycle (online, face to face and blended, specifically the planning, preparation, implementation of EPAP learning programmes and activities under the three technical clusters (Employment, Skills, and Labour Statistics); • Understand the values and principles advocated by the ILO as well as the policy and practical measures for the application of these principles; • Have assisted with research for the preparation and implementation of training activities in the areas of Employment Policy, Skills, and Labour Statistics; • Have conducted research on how to improve EPAP's reach out through innovative promotion strategies, better online presence, and increased database of key contacts. Internship Terms of Reference: The intern will primarily be involved in EPAP activities across the Programme's three clusters of Employment Policies, Skills Development, and Labour Market Statistics. Under the overall supervision and technical guidance of the EPAP manager, she/he will contribute to the following tasks: • Implementation of training courses online, face to face, and blended organized under the three technical clusters of EPAP (Employment, Skills, Labour Statistics); • Research and systematisation of relevant technical information; • Communicating with subject matter experts to compile technical learning materials; • Drafting of discussion summaries and the preparation of activity reports; • Assisting with the development of self-paced on line modules on topics related to Employment, Statistics, or Skills development; • Revamping the ITCILO webpage of EPAP to improve EPAP's web presence
