Role Description The International Ticketing Staff role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kangra. The role involves handling international ticket sales and reservations for individual and corporate clients, ensuring accurate fare calculations, routing, and documentation in line with airline and travel regulations. The team member will respond to customer inquiries, provide itinerary options, manage changes and cancellations, and support customers before and after ticket issuance. Daily tasks also include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of airline policies, promotions, and global travel requirements, coordinating closely with sales and operations teams, and maintaining detailed records in ticketing and reservation systems.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Ticket Sales and Reservations, including familiarity with airline booking systems and fare rules.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to handle queries, resolve issues, and provide clear travel guidance.
- Candidates should possess foundational Sales skills, with the ability to recommend suitable travel options and support revenue growth.
- Candidates should possess good attention to detail, time management abilities, and proficiency with computer-based reservation platforms.
- Relevant experience in travel or airline ticketing, knowledge of international routes and regulations, and prior work in a travel agency or TMC are beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Kangra, adapt to changing travel requirements, and maintain a professional, customer-focused approach is expected.
