Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, for an International Sales and Marketing Executive. The role involves identifying and developing new international markets, managing existing global customer accounts, and driving export sales for Basmati and Non-Basmati rice. The executive will handle end-to-end sales cycles, including lead generation, inquiry handling, price negotiation, contract finalization, and coordination with operations and logistics teams for timely shipments. Daily responsibilities include preparing quotations and proposals, conducting market and competitor analysis, supporting international marketing campaigns, and participating in trade shows or buyer meetings as needed. The role also requires close collaboration with quality, documentation, and finance teams to ensure regulatory compliance, accurate export documentation, and on-time payments, while maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in International Sales and International Business, preferably in agri-commodities, food products, or FMCG exports.
- Experience in Sales and Account Management, with the ability to manage key accounts and build sustainable client relationships.
- Strong Customer Service orientation, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and customer satisfaction across global markets.
- Understanding of export documentation, INCOTERMS, international payment terms (e.g., LC, TT), and basic trade compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or PG in International Business is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional foreign language proficiency is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research, identify new opportunities, and support pricing and positioning decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools; ability to work with data to track sales performance and forecasts.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required and to work across time zones with global clients.
