International Product Manager – Pharmaceuticals & Nutraceuticals (Emerging Markets)

Surgeway Biosciences is a growing international healthcare company developing pharmaceutical and nutraceutical portfolios across emerging markets in Asia and Africa.
We currently operate in multiple international markets and are expanding our product portfolio across Southeast Asia and Africa through both B2B and B2C business models.
About the Role
This is not a conventional Product Manager role.
We're looking for someone who enjoys identifying the right products before registration, rather than simply promoting products after launch.
The role combines:
- Product Portfolio Development
- Product Evaluation
- Market Intelligence
- International Market Research
- Product Launch Support
A key part of the role involves international travel and interacting with doctors, pharmacists, distributors and country teams to understand real market needs before recommending products for registration.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate future pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products for international markets.
- Build country-wise product portfolios and registration pipelines.
- Conduct market research through desk research and international field visits.
- Prepare structured product evaluation reports and portfolio recommendations.
- Support product launches and lifecycle management.
- Review existing portfolios and recommend improvements.
- Work closely with Regulatory, Business Development, Procurement and Country Managers on long-term portfolio planning.
Candidate Profile
We're looking for professionals with:
- 4–8 years' experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Nutraceutical Product Management, International Marketing or Export Marketing.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products and therapy areas.
- Excellent analytical and commercial thinking.
- Curiosity to understand markets and identify future product opportunities.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
Experience in pharmaceutical exports or emerging markets will be an advantage.
