Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled International News Writer to cover global news for the Times Now website during the night shift. The role primarily involves writing high-quality English articles on international news, ensuring speed, accuracy, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and cover breaking international news stories across regions (US, Europe, Middle East, Asia, etc.)
• Write clear, concise, and engaging English articles for the website
• Ensure quick turnaround on breaking news with high accuracy
• Conduct basic research and fact-checking before publishing
• Write SEO-friendly headlines, summaries, and story copies
• Update stories as new developments emerge
• Adhere to editorial guidelines and content standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in digital news writing (preferably international news)
• Strong command of written English
• Good understanding of global news and current affairs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Familiarity with CMS and basic SEO practices
• Willingness to work night shifts (5 days a week, WFO – Noida)

Preferred Skills:

• Strong news judgment and storytelling ability
• Ability to handle multiple stories simultaneously
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
