Capacity Development Specialist

The Capacity Development Specialist will play a crucial role in providing expert guidance and technical assistance in developing content for capacity development initiatives. This includes creating course content, expository texts, scripts for animated and testimonial videos, learning activities, and assessment questions tailored to the learning needs and desired outcomes identified by CIMMYT's research programs. The specialist will ensure the implementation and co-design of capacity development solutions and interventions in collaboration with research programs and technical partners. Additionally, the role involves conducting research to address specific issues, managing the production and instructional design of e-learning and face-to-face courses, and facilitating organizational assessments. The specialist will also be responsible for collecting data, preparing reports on training events, and contributing to the documentation and systematization of capacity development processes.
