CLIENT: Diversified producer of processed foods like Gherkins, Jalapenos, Silver Skin Onions, Beet, Baby Corn, Bell Pepper, Tomato paste/sauce, Ginger Garlic paste, Mayonnaise etc.Looking for out-bound logistics professional, exporting to over 50 international locations,shipping 20 containers/day.
Key Result Areas:
- Coordinate with CHAs, transporters, and freight forwarders for timely export container booking and placement at the plant.
- Track & trace containers, ensure maximum vessel onboarding, and support revenue/DIFOT targets.
- Handle daily container movement (20+ per day) and reduce detention/demurrage costs.
- Build strong relationships with CHAs, shipping lines, planning, sales, and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee export documentation, maritime regulations, and process compliance.
Incumbent profile:
- 8 years’ +experience in outbound logistics,international freight movement. Strong knowledge of container logistics, maritime laws,export procedures. Experience managing 20+ containers/day.
- Dynamic DG certified professional with 10 years of experience in handling International/Outbound Logistics with high volume container shipments.
- Demonstrated ability to significantly save the logistics cost by standardizing process and negotiating favorable terms with CHA and maintaining good contact with customs officials.
ANNUAL COMPENSATION: 12-15 LPA
