Information Management Officer (Remote/home-based)

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is the world's largest humanitarian network, with 192 member National Societies. As part of the IFRC, we are looking for an Information Management Officer to support the implementation of the digital services strategy across IFRC's regional offices, national societies and global and regional teams. Responsibilities: - Contribute to the development and implementation of IFRC's Information Management strategy and solutions, including data storage, transfer, processing and analysis. - Support the roll-out and scaling of digital information management tools, platforms and services to IFRC's National Societies and regional teams. - Coordinate and integrate information management capacity building efforts across the IFRC network. - Provide technical advice and support to IFRC teams on digital information management solutions and best practices. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify information management needs and requirements. - Document and share lessons learned, best practices and case studies on effective information management. Requirements: - University degree in Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in information management, digital transformation or a similar field. - Strong understanding of data management, information systems and digital solutions. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical and technical skills. - Proficiency in English is required, knowledge of other IFRC languages (French, Spanish, Arabic) is an asset. - Experience working in the humanitarian, non-profit or development sector is desirable. - Willingness to work remotely and be part of a globally distributed team.
