At ZSI, we specialise in the development, manufacturing, and global distribution of innovative surgical implants. We are expanding our international operations team and looking for a highly organized, proactive International Executive Assistant to work directly with our International Director from our offices in Chennai
The Role
This is a high-visibility, office-based role designed to support international operational projects and drive global distribution partner management.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner & Operations Management: Act as the primary day-to-day contact for global distribution partners. Ensure they receive product info, marketing materials, and commercial documentation. Track deliverables, deadlines, and agreed actions.
- Regional & Project Support: Support Regional Managers across Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Europe to keep international dossiers and projects moving forward smoothly.
- Product Ownership & Marketing: Write clear product summaries (indications, features, positioning) for sales teams and produce educational/marketing content using AI writing tools under executive supervision.
- Event & Training Coordination: Manage global congress preparations (booths, roll-ups, samples, logistics) and organize international training projects (e.g., coordinating training in India for surgeons/participants from Malaysia or Indonesia).
- Market Research & Qualification: Identify, research, and qualify potential distribution partners in emerging markets (e.g., Central Asia) and set up introductory meetings.
- Technical & Distributor Support: Provide simple product support and technical assistance (including on-site after product training), while routing regulatory/quality topics internally.
- Status & Dossier Tracking: Maintain clear visibility over open projects, delivering concise updates on pending items, deadlines, and action points needing executive attention.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering or Medical Engineering (BE / B.Tech or higher).
- Hospital Exposure: Hands-on experience or internship completed within a hospital environment.
- Experience Level: Open to motivated fresh graduates up to professionals with ~3–5 years of experience. Experience with medical device manufacturers or distributors is a plus.
- Clinical Understanding: Tactful understanding of doctors and surgeons, their workflows, and communication styles. Familiarity with hospital tenders/procurement is an advantage.
- Languages & Tech: Excellent written and spoken English (our global working language). Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams), AI tools for content generation, and CRM systems.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational discipline, a composed personality, and a diplomatic yet persistent communication style.
- Mobility: Flexibility to travel within India for several days or weeks for technical/training support, with potential international travel opportunities.
