Title: Business Development Manager — Kolkata (On-site)
We are mahabir.group. We set up factories, source raw materials, and run steel and infrastructure projects across India, Africa, and the Middle East. We are hiring a BDM based out of our Salt Lake office in Kolkata.
What you will do:
- Drive export business across Africa, Middle East, and South Asia
- Build pipelines using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cowork, and Claude — not just send emails, but use AI to research, qualify, and reach out at scale
- Own client relationships end-to-end, from first contact to closed deal
- Work directly with the CEO on growth strategy and new market entry
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years in business development, ideally with exports or B2B industrial sales
- At least one role of 3+ years in the same company — we want stability, not job-hoppers
- Comfort with AI tools — you should already be using Claude or ChatGPT daily, know Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and be willing to go deeper with Cowork and similar tools
- Self-driven — once you understand the goal, you run with it. We do not micromanage. You earn a generous performance based incentive apart from monthly income.
- Based in Kolkata or willing to relocate. This is an in-office role. We do not hire fully remote.
