Position Overview
The Manager - International Business Development (IBD) will be responsible for driving global
business growth, expanding Biodeal’s presence across international markets, and managing strategic
partnerships. The IBD Manager will lead business operations across regions such as LATAM, Africa,
CIS, ensuring compliance, profitability, and long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement international business strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships, distributors, and clients in global markets.
- Lead business expansion across regions such as LATAM, Africa, CIS.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, product potential, and competitive trends.
- Drive registration and product launches in collaboration with the Regulatory and QA teams.
- Negotiate and finalize business agreements, contracts, and pricing structures with international partners.
- Manage export documentation, logistics coordination, and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Collaborate with R&D and Production teams for new product development based on market needs.
- Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings to promote Biodeal’s products and capabilities.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing international business team focused on results and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor business performance metrics and report progress to the CMD and management team.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of global pharmaceutical markets, regulations, and trade requirements.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on results, profitability, and market growth.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Spanish, French, or Russian will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in managing multi-region operations and business networks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in International Business Development within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record in establishing and growing business across multiple international markets.
- Strong exposure to LATAM, Africa, CIS pharmaceutical markets.
- Experience in product registration, export management, and global marketing strategies.
