Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an International Business Development professional at Global Wealth Management. The role involves identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business opportunities with European firms seeking to enter or expand in India. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, mapping target accounts, preparing client proposals, and supporting the design of market entry and growth strategies. The role also includes managing prospect and client communication, coordinating cross-border calls and meetings, and maintaining detailed records in CRM or similar systems. The individual will collaborate with internal stakeholders on financial, technical, and legal inputs, contribute to presentations and pitch materials, and support negotiations through to deal closure and post-signing follow-up. Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, industry events, or onsite workshops.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in international business and international business development, with experience in cross-border or EU–India market contexts.
- Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, assess risks, and support evidence-based recommendations.
- Demonstrated communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear presentations, proposals, and executive briefings.
- Proven sales and relationship-management skills, with experience managing pipelines, nurturing long-term partnerships, and supporting deal execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience or strong interest in sectors such as financial services, engineering, aerospace, or enterprise technology.
- Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced, and globally distributed environment, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German or another European language is an advantage.
- High ethical standards, fiduciary mindset, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
