Position Overview

The VP – International BD Head will lead global business development initiatives across regulated markets including the US, UK, Europe (Germany), and Latin America (Peru). This executive role is responsible for driving international growth through product registration, client acquisition, and strategic alliances while ensuring adherence to global regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand business in regulated markets across the US, UK, EU, and LATAM.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage global distributors, partners, and clients.
  • Oversee product portfolio selection aligned with international market demand.
  • Handle licensing, dossier submission, and regulatory coordination activities.
  • Lead and grow the CDMO/CRAMS business opportunities.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing strategies, and partnership terms.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including RA, QA, production, and supply chain to ensure seamless execution.
  • Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards such as USFDA, MHRA, and EMA.
  • Represent the organization in international forums and client engagements to strengthen global presence.


Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Education: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / MBA (Pharma/International Business).
  • Experience: 18–20+ years in international pharmaceutical business development within regulated markets.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage global stakeholder relationships.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of USFDA, MHRA, and EMA regulations; expertise in product registration, dossier management, and licensing.
  • Preferred Skills: Exposure to oncology, cephalosporin, and OSD formulations; experience in global distribution and licensing deals.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking abilities; strategic and globally oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
