INTERNATIONAL ADMISSION COUNSELLOR
India | Canadian University Partner
M.M Advisory Services (MMA) | New Delhi
Full-time | Remote (India-based) with planned travel
Experience: 5–8 years | Compensation: INR 10–14 LPA + Performance Incentive
Join a 15-year international education services company that works exclusively with Canadian university partners. This is a conversion-focused role - you’ll be measured on students who enrol, not events attended or fairs visited.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You’ll manage the full student admission journey across India - from first engagement through to confirmed enrolment - working directly with a Canadian university partner. The role combines student and family counselling with the operational discipline of pipeline management: WhatsApp and email follow-up, document coordination, agent relationship management, and school counsellor engagement during peak recruitment periods.
The core of the work:
• Counsel students and families on programmes, admissions, scholarships, visa, and career outcomes - including direct engagement with parents on financial and logistical decisions
• Own the pipeline end-to-end: application follow-up, offer-holder conversion, deposit confirmation, visa support, enrolment
• Coordinate with education agents -monitoring student progress, providing admission updates, managing document flows across agent channels
• Represent the university at school visits and education fairs during peak periods (August–November, January–March)
You’ll work alongside a senior Recruitment Advisor in a small, focused team with direct exposure to the university partner and recruitment strategy -not as a number in a large operation.
HOW SUCCESS IS MEASURED
• Students who enrol. Pipeline progression from offer through to enrolment is the primary measure.
• Pipeline health. Active pipeline is progressing, not stalling. No student goes cold because of a gap on our side.
• Follow-through. Every offer-holder has a plan, and that plan is being executed.
If your strength is in the daily discipline of moving students forward - the WhatsApp follow-up, the parent conversation, the document chase, the agent check-in - this role is designed for you.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 5–8 years in international student recruitment, study-abroad counselling, or higher education admissions - with outcomes you can point to, not just activity
• Strong understanding of Indian student and parent decision-making - what drives commitment, what causes hesitation, how family dynamics shape the choice
• Pipeline management ability not just initial counselling, but the sustained follow-up that moves students from offer to enrolment
• Comfort engaging parents directly - especially on financial and logistical questions
• Experience working with education agents across India
• Professional communication across WhatsApp, email, and phone
• Self-directed in a remote environment
Preferred: Canadian higher education familiarity, knowledge of Indian school boards (CBSE, IB, ISC), experience with South Asian markets beyond India, and personal study-abroad experience.

Why this role:
• Direct partnership with a Canadian university - you’re close to the institution, the strategy, and the outcomes
• A small team where your contribution is visible, and your impact is measurable
• Professional growth - exposure to how recruitment models are evolving, not just execution
• Remote flexibility with planned, purposeful travel - not year-round road time
