We are currently building a dedicated International Sales team focused on Global North and Global South campaigns across key international markets including the GCC region (UAE, Kingdom of Saudhi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Riyadh,and Jordan), along with ANZ, East Asia, and Africa.
Role Overview:
We are seeking highly driven, articulate, and consultative International Admissions Counsellors to support our international learner acquisition and parent engagement initiatives across global markets.
This role requires professionals who can confidently represent 21K School in virtual interactions, build trust with international families, and guide prospective parents through the admissions journey with clarity and empathy. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong virtual presentation skills, and the ability to effectively engage with global audiences across diverse cultural contexts.
The role demands flexibility to work across international engagement windows ranging between 11:30AM to 8:30PM IST based on assigned markets and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. International Lead Engagement & Qualification
- Manage inbound and outbound enquiries across international markets through calls, emails, WhatsApp, Zoom, and other virtual platforms.
- Engage with prospective parents and learners to understand educational requirements, curriculum preferences, and global schooling needs.
- Qualify leads effectively and guide families through the complete admissions journey with structured follow-ups.
- Build credibility and trust with international parents through professional and consultative interactions.
2. Consultative Counselling & Product Positioning
- Clearly articulate curriculum structures, accreditations, teaching methodology, fee structures, and academic offerings.
- Conduct virtual counselling sessions, webinars, demos, and parent interactions over Zoom and digital platforms.
- Recommend suitable academic pathways aligned to learner aspirations and parent expectations.
- Represent the organization professionally during all virtual interactions and presentations.
3. Conversion & Revenue Delivery
- Manage the complete sales funnel from enquiry generation to enrolment conversion.
- Use CRM tools to track leads, follow-ups, pipeline movement, and conversion metrics.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up mechanisms to drive timely decision-making and enrolments.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly international admissions and revenue targets.
4. Stakeholder Coordination & Market Feedback
- Coordinate closely with marketing, admissions, academic, and operations teams to improve lead quality and parent experience.
- Share market insights, parent feedback, and competitor intelligence from international regions.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, applications, conversions, and engagement activities.
- Stay updated on international schooling trends, parent expectations, and global education preferences.
Selection Criteria
1. Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Communication, or a related field.
- Certifications in Sales, CRM tools, communication, international business, or customer engagement will be an added advantage.
2. Experience
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in international sales, admissions counselling, customer engagement, business development, or EdTech sales.
- Prior exposure to GCC markets (UAE, KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and Jordan), along with ANZ, East Asia, or Africa, will be strongly preferred.
- Experience in handling international parents/customers through virtual platforms preferred.
- Prior experience in target-driven and high-performance sales environments preferred.
3. Must Have
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong voice clarity and confidence during virtual/Zoom interactions.
- Presentable and professional communication style suitable for international parent-facing interactions.
- Strong consultative sales and objection-handling capabilities.
- Ability to independently manage lead pipelines, follow-ups, and conversion journeys.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems and virtual communication platforms.
- Ability to work flexibly across international engagement windows between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM IST based on assigned markets.
- Strong ownership mindset with high accountability towards targets and performance metrics.
- Ability to effectively engage with parents and learners across diverse cultural backgrounds.
4. Good to Have
- Prior experience in EdTech, online schooling, overseas education, or international admissions.
- Exposure to consultative counselling for high-consideration products/services.
- Understanding of international parent expectations and global schooling trends.
