Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, student-focused International Academic Counsellor to guide learners on their international pathway qualifications. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in international education counselling, a strong understanding of global study options, and the ability to match students’ profiles with suitable programmes and destinations. This is a full-time, office-based role in Whitefield, Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities:
· Counsel students on international education options, entry requirements, and application processes
· Assess student profiles and recommend suitable countries, universities, and courses
· Manage the end-to-end application cycle: documentation, applications, offers, and follow-ups
· Guide students on tests, visas (in coordination with internal/external teams), timelines, and finances
· Maintain accurate records of enquiries, applications, and conversions in the CRM
· Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for applications and enrolments
· Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and partner institutions
· Participate in student events, webinars, and info sessions as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years of proven experience in study abroad academic counselling
· Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) from a recognised institution
· Fluent in English, with clear written and spoken communication
· Strong listening skills, empathy, and the ability to handle student/parent queries
· Target-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding enrolment goals
