About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Internal Sales Executive to support our sales operations and drive customer engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound sales communication, nurturing leads, coordinating with clients, and supporting the external sales team to achieve business targets through both traditional and digital sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound enquiries and generate new business opportunities through calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and digital platforms.
- Use LinkedIn, social media platforms, online databases, and digital tools for lead generation and prospect identification.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through online research and networking.
- Follow up with prospective clients and maintain regular communication.
- Identify and connect with decision-makers in engineering and manufacturing companies.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and sales documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and customer support.
- Maintain and update customer databases and CRM records.
- Support the sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Conduct market research and identify potential business opportunities.
- Schedule meetings and appointments for the business development team.
- Track sales performance and prepare periodic reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in internal sales, tele-sales, business development, or customer relationship management.
- Experience using LinkedIn and social media platforms for professional networking and lead generation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English and regional languages is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
- Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in B2B sales environment.
- Exposure to engineering, industrial, or manufacturing sectors will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, online lead generation tools, and digital prospecting techniques.
- Organized, target-driven, and detail-oriented approach.
