Senior Associate, Engagement Finance Support
Job Description
Senior Associates in the Engagement Finance Support team will assist in daily billing and collections activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare draft invoices independently and work with managers to solve transactional issues, if any
- Responding to the Engagement Team’s billing inquiries to ensure smooth billing process
- Assist in tracking overdue invoices and following up appropriately with Engagement teams on finalizing and posting the draft invoices.
- Support the generation of DSO reports and other financial analyses.
- Help manage WBS codes with project stage updates
- Assist the junior team members in helping clarifying the process related issues.
- Provide administrative support as needed to managers and Senior manager as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in finance operations or a related area.
Shift
Hyderabad- 2 to 11PM Work shift
Monday to Wednesday- 3 days Work from office.
Skills And Competencies
- Proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, basic to advanced knowledge on Power BI will be an added advantage).
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Familiarity with billing and invoicing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and processes.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Collaborate and work as part of a team.
- Ability to research and investigate discrepancies in invoices and resolve issues
- Strong communication skills and be able to articulate the problem statement, offer solutions to the engagement teams.
