Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Internal Auditor to join our NBFC team. The ideal candidate should be a CA, with prior experience in auditing, preferably within the NBFC sector. Candidates with previous NBFC experience will be given priority. The role involves conducting internal audit, evaluating our internal controls, financial processes, and compliance with regulatory requirements to ensure operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits of financial and operational processes
- Conduct audit of the new loan disbursements and reporting the deviations from the approved policies
- Doing branch visits and check the operational processes
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements specific to NBFCs
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management
- Collaborate with various departments to facilitate audit processes
- Follow up on audit recommendations and verify implementation
Qualifications & Experience:
- CA (Chartered Accountant) pursuing or completed
- Prior audit experience, preferably in NBFCs or financial institutions
- Experience in internal auditing is preferred
- Graduate degree in any discipline is mandatory
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preference:
- Candidates with prior NBFC sector experience will be given preference
Skills:
- Knowledge of NBFC regulatory framework
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and audit tools
