Job Title
Sr Executive – Accounts & Audit
Job Summary
The candidate will be responsible for handling accounting operations along with internal audit activities to ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, proper internal controls, and effective financial processes within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Finance
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and books of accounts.
- Prepare journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory workings and filings.
- Process vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, and tax consultants.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and records.
Internal Audit & Compliance
- Conduct internal audits of financial and operational processes.
- Review accounting records, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Evaluate internal controls and identify process gaps or risks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
- Prepare audit observations and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
- Support statutory and external audit requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, taxation, and financial compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, ERP systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and report-writing abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com).
- CA Inter / CMA qualification preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in internal audit and accounting.
