Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Intern UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating intuitive, modern, and visually stunning user experiences. In this role, you will work closely with our senior designers and development team to design wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes for web and mobile applications. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to put their design skills to practice on real-life projects.

· This is an Intern FULL-TIME role (unpaid until completion of Internship),

Responsibilities:
· Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback.
· Produce wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps.
· Design high-fidelity UI mockups and ensure visual consistency across products.
· Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
· Assist in user research and usability testing to identify user pain points and validate design solutions.
· Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
· Help maintain and evolve the design system and brand guidelines.
· Document design processes and support in creating guidelines for future projects..
Requirements
· Proficiency in design software primarily in Figma with expertise in auto layouts
· Hands on experience in one of the alternates such as Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
· Solid understanding of user-centered design principles.
· Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail, typography, and color.
· Ability to create responsive designs adaptable for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
· Familiarity with prototyping tools and techniques.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills primarily in English
· Ability to take feedback positively and refine designs based on team input.
· Certifications or graduation related to design
· Should be available for calls during EST hours
Nice to have
· Familiarity with motion design/animation tools.
· Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
Compensation
· Unpaid internship during probationary 3 months
· 3 to 6 months – 5,000 INR a month Stipend
· 6 to 12 months – 10,000 INR a month
· Project Commission: 1% from the project GP. For example, if Pqxel makes $20,000 on a project in GP, you’ll be paid 1% of this as commission if delivered in time and paid in full. For this example, your payment will be $200 which translates to 12,000 INR paid towards this project.
Location
· Though the job is primarily remote, employees would be required to attend any local company events if invited.
Timings
· All employees are required to work 4 to 8 hours per day (including internal meetings during fixed EST hours) and complete time sheets and other documentation essential for the success of this role.
