Founding Intern — Strategy & OperationsSayfer Bio
At Sayfer Bio, we are building toward a healthier and more sustainable future through biotechnology-driven innovation. We are currently focused on the execution and launch of our first product line and are looking for a highly motivated Founding Intern to work directly with the core team in a fast-paced startup environment.
This role is ideal for someone excited about working at the intersection of science, business, operations, and strategy — where ideas move quickly into real-world execution.
What You’ll Work On
- Support business development, outreach, networking, and strategic calls
- Assist in handling and organizing scientific and operational data
- Create presentations, reports, white papers, and research summaries
- Participate in market research and competitive analysis
- Assist with experiment planning, design of experiments (DOE), and data interpretation
- Work closely with leadership on early-stage product launch activities
- Coordinate with clients and collaborators across multiple countries
- Contribute to both scientific discussions and business strategy execution
What We’re Looking For
- Highly driven, proactive, and comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to understand and communicate scientific concepts clearly
- Familiarity with:
- Precision fermentation
- Data analysis
- Scientific literature review
- Experimental design
- MBA students preferred
- Background in science, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, life sciences, or related fields is a major plus
- Ability to take ownership and execute independently

Qualifications
- Strong research and analytical skills to perform industry and competitive analysis
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities for planning and decision-making
- Organizational and operational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in written communication, presentation, and report preparation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to fast-paced settings
- Understanding or interest in sustainability, cultivated meat, or alternative protein industries
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Experience or coursework in data analysis, project management, or business strategy is a plus
