The Role
We are seeking a talented Script Writer Intern based in India to join our remote team. This role is a unique blend of historical detective work and creative storytelling. You will be responsible for transforming raw historical facts into captivating audio journeys and engaging social media content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Historical Research: Conduct deep-dive online research to uncover fascinating stories, verified facts, and high-quality visual references for various city stops.
- Audio Scripting: Craft compelling, emotionally resonant scripts for digital audio tours, ensuring each "stop" is informative and engaging.
- Social Media Content: Write high-energy scripts for short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok) and draft engaging copy for static Instagram posts.
- Asset Sourcing: Identify and collect copyright-free images and media to support tour content, maintaining strict adherence to intellectual property standards.
Qualifications
- A Passion for History: You have a genuine curiosity about the past and a "must-have" interest in cultural heritage.
- Narrative Excellence: Proven ability in storytelling and emotional scriptwriting. You know how to hook an audience and keep them listening.
- Research Proficiency: Skilled at navigating digital archives, official sources, and AI tools to find and verify historical data.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust your writing tone and style for different audiences and global geographies.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets), Slack, and an understanding of copyright regulations.
- Attention to Detail: A commitment to high-quality, fact-checked work and polished English fluency.
- Bonus Points: Experience with audio guides/museum tours or a background in the tourism and arts sectors.

Contractual Details
- Salary/Compensation Range : ₹6000-10000 per month
- Commitment: 20 hours per week.
- Probation: 1-month initial period. During this time, either party may terminate the agreement immediately. Compensation for the probation period will be calculated pro rata for the days worked.
- Future Outlook: This is a 3-month internship. As the business scales, there is a strong possibility for contract extension or transition into a full-time role with increased compensation.
