Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC), recognized by the National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), operates under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) to enhance skill development in India’s Life Sciences sector. Focused on pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and research, LSSSDC aims to build a vibrant ecosystem for quality education and skills training. The organization serves as the APEX body for developing National Occupational Standards, vocational education qualifications, and assessment mechanisms while facilitating industry engagement. With a mission to bridge the skill gap, they aim to skill approximately 3.5 million professionals by 2047.
Role Description
This is an on-site internship role for a Medical Devices Intern, located in Vasant Vihar. The intern will support projects related to skill development and competency mapping in the medical devices industry. Responsibilities include conducting industry research, assisting in the development of occupational standards, contributing to educational content creation, and supporting initiatives aimed at improving workforce training in the sector. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Research and analysis skills, especially related to medical devices and life sciences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to create educational and technical content.
- Organizational and project management skills to assist with multiple initiatives effectively.
- Proficiency in basic office tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Interest or background in medical devices, life sciences, or skill development sectors is a plus.
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
