Role Description
This is an internship position for an Intern Journalist with one of our reputed clients. The primary responsibilities include writing news articles, conducting research, drafting press releases, and occasionally assisting with broadcasting initiatives. This is a hybrid role based in North Barrackpore (Ichapore), allowing for a combination of on-site work and remote assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in writing, news writing, and crafting compelling content
- Proficiency in creating press releases and formal communication
- Experience in research and verification of information from credible sources
- Familiarity with, or an interest in, broadcasting and storytelling
- Passion for regional and socio-political issues
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
- Fluency in Bengali (written and verbal) is highly preferred
- Enthusiastic individuals pursuing a degree in journalism, mass communication, or a related field are encouraged to apply
Note: This is an unpaid internship for the first month; however, a travel allowance will be provided. Upon successful completion of the initial month, a fixed stipend will be offered if the intern wishes to continue.
