Role Description The Intern for Boutique – Bangalore will support daily boutique operations in a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. Responsibilities include assisting customers on the shop floor, helping with product display and visual merchandising, and maintaining an organized and welcoming store environment. The intern will support inventory management by tracking stock, arranging garments, and preparing items for display or customer trials. Additional tasks may include coordinating trial appointments, helping with basic sales or billing processes under guidance, and providing feedback to the team on customer preferences. The role offers hands-on experience in a fashion boutique and opportunities to learn about ethnic fashion, retail customer service, and brand presentation.
Qualifications
- Customer service and communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
- Interest in fashion, ethnic wear, and visual merchandising, with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Basic organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks in a busy boutique environment.
- Comfort with learning simple point-of-sale or billing processes and maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Bengaluru and stand or move around the store for extended periods.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to follow boutique policies and brand guidelines.
- Prior retail or customer-facing experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages (such as Kannada or Hindi) is beneficial.
