Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst Intern to support our data initiatives. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world business problems and gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret data, generate insights, and contribute to decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Translate data findings into actionable business insights
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Commerce, or a related field
- Strong foundational knowledge of SQL (joins, aggregations, filtering)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and methodologies
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data analysis
- Experience working on academic or personal data-related projects
- Understanding of business metrics and reporting concepts

Internship Details
