Role Description
This is a paid, full-time on-site internship role at Kühltherm’s office in Ahmedabad. The duration of the internship is preferably 6 months; candidates available for a minimum of 3 months will also be considered. The Intern will assist in various aspects of research and development, testing, and data analysis for the development of high efficiency cooling systems. Day to day tasks will include supporting the engineering team in prototype testing, collecting and documenting data, contributing to component design, and assisting with administrative tasks and project management as needed.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of thermal systems, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics, including familiarity with Finite Volume Method (FVM) and its application in thermal and flow analysis
- Hands-on experience or coursework in CFD simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, or equivalent); ability to set up, run, and interpret CFD simulations is strongly preferred
- Experience with CAD software for component and system design
- Basic skills in data collection, analysis, and preparing technical documentation
- Strong problem solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and take initiative on assigned tasks
- Enthusiasm for innovation and interest in sustainable technologies
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field in engineering principles related to thermal and fluid dynamics
