Company Description Entrepreneurs Association of India (EAI) is a not-for-profit organization registered under Section 8 and CSR-1 with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, and holds tax-exempt status. EAI connects entrepreneurs, organizations, and individuals of Indian origin, working at the district level to engage in policy discussions and promote youth, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The organization focuses on the economic empowerment of youth, women, and farmers through entrepreneurship-led initiatives. EAI’s vision is to build an enterprising India through inclusive growth, creating opportunities across diverse communities. Interns will join a mission-driven environment that values social impact, collaboration, and grassroots engagement.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Intern role based in New Delhi. The intern will support day-to-day operations, including assisting with program coordination, event planning, and outreach to entrepreneurs, partners, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include conducting basic research on entrepreneurship and policy themes, preparing presentations and reports, and maintaining documentation and databases. The intern will also help manage social media and digital communication, draft content for outreach materials, and provide logistical support for workshops and meetings. The role involves working closely with team members to support initiatives focused on youth, women, and farmer empowerment through entrepreneurship.
Note-There is only travel allowances (if any) and No Stipend, as we Invest in our Interns to gain knowledge and grow. We suggest a timeframe of 2 months in hybrid mode. At the end, they get a certificate.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including clear written and spoken English; ability to prepare basic reports, presentations, and emails.
- Research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather information, summarize key insights, and present findings in a structured manner.
- Basic proficiency with office and productivity tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, web-based collaboration platforms).
- Interest in entrepreneurship, social impact, public policy, and economic empowerment, especially related to youth, women, and farmers.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines under guidance.
- Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, collaborate in a team-oriented environment, and engage respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Development Studies, or a related field (or equivalent practical exposure).
- Prior internship, volunteer experience, or participation in student clubs, startups, or community initiatives is an advantage but not mandatory.
