Role Description Intern Architects at SPAN Associates will support the design and documentation of architectural projects from concept through execution. Day-to-day tasks include assisting in developing design concepts, preparing drawings and 3D models, creating presentation materials, and contributing to material and product research. Interns will collaborate with senior architects and project teams, participate in design reviews, and help coordinate information across disciplines. The role also involves supporting basic project management activities such as organizing documentation and tracking design changes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, offering hands-on exposure to professional practice in a studio environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and models.
- Basic knowledge of Software Development and Integration as applied to architectural tools, workflows, or design technologies.
- Interest or experience in Project Management, including organizing project information and supporting coordination tasks.
- Proficiency in relevant design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar), and presentation tools.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
- Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow design guidelines and technical standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a studio setting, take feedback constructively, and manage time effectively on multiple tasks.
- Enthusiasm for learning, curiosity about materials and construction methods, and interest in contemporary design practice.
