We are looking for a passionate and execution-focused Intern Android Kotlin Developer to support our Android development team. This role is designed to solve the developer bandwidth gap in the Android team by helping with feature development, bug fixing, and SDK integrations.

⏰ Hours: 20 hours/week

🎯 Objective
To solve the shortage of developer bandwidth in the Android team by supporting ongoing development tasks, improving sprint delivery, and assisting the team in building and maintaining Android applications.

🎯 Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new features in Android applications using Kotlin
- Fix bugs and improve stability of existing Android codebase
- Assist in SDK implementation and integrations (Ads, Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
- Work closely with senior developers and PMs for task understanding and delivery
- Ensure clean coding practices and maintainable code structure
- Support sprint execution by completing tasks within timelines
- Document changes and update progress in project boards

- Maintain strong Sprint Completion Score by delivering assigned tasks on time
- Minimize carry-forward tasks through proactive communication
- Ensure quality delivery with fewer rework cycles
- Support overall sprint execution efficiency
👤 Ideal Candidate
- Strong interest in Android development and mobile app building
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin-based Android projects
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced development environment
- Able to collaborate with multiple developers and communicate progress clearly
- Willing to learn SDK integrations and improve development workflow
🛠 Technical Skills (Must-Have)
- Kotlin Development (Mandatory)
- Android Studio & Gradle build system
- Strong understanding of:
- Activities, Fragments
- RecyclerView, ViewModel, LiveData
- MVVM architecture
- REST API integration using Retrofit / OkHttp
- Debugging tools and log analysis (Logcat)
- Git / GitHub version control
- Basic understanding of Firebase integration (preferred)
- SDK integration experience (Ads / Analytics / Push Notifications preferred)
🎓 Qualification / Experience Requirement
- Must have worked on at least 3 Android Kotlin projects
- (real apps, demo apps, internship work, or personal portfolio projects are accepted)
⏰ Availability & Commitment
- Must be available for 4:30 PM IST meetings
- Internship type can be:
- 20 hours/week (Part-time)
- 40 hours/week (Full-time)
- Must provide consistent weekly delivery and sprint updates
