Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support corporate compliance and secretarial functions across our group companies. The role provides hands-on exposure to regulatory frameworks, corporate governance, and legal documentation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliances under Companies Act, 2013
- Drafting and finalizing notices, agendas, and minutes for Committee, Board, and General Meetings
- Reviewing and assisting in finalization of Shareholders’ Agreements (SHA) and Share Subscription Agreements (SSA)
- Maintaining statutory registers and records
- Assisting in procurement of ISIN and coordinating with investors for dematerialization
- Coordinating with Registrar & Transfer Agents (RTA), auditors, and internal teams
- Providing support on company law matters and internal advisory
- Assisting in private placement and preferential allotment of securities
- Supporting buy-back and bonus issue processes
- Assisting in ESOP management and documentation
- Maintaining compliance trackers and updating stakeholders regularly
- Collecting disclosures and declarations from Directors
- Supporting due diligence (DD) and audit requirements
- Assisting in alteration of charter documents
- Preparing documentation for compounding applications
- Supporting inter-corporate loans, bank guarantees, and overdraft-related matters
2. Compliances under FEMA, 1999
- Assisting in filing RBI forms such as FC-GPR, FLA, and FC-TRS
- Supporting FEMA-related compounding applications
3. Compliances under SEBI Regulations
- Assisting with LODR and other applicable SEBI regulations
4. IRDAI Compliance
- Supporting compliance requirements under the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999
5. Other Responsibilities
- Assisting with ad-hoc compliance, legal, and secretarial tasks as required
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have cleared their professional examinations (e.g., CS/CA/CMA – Inter/Final)
Requirements & Skills
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, legal compliance, and statutory reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Flexible and adaptable, especially in a startup environment
