Key Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain and optimize Oracle databases for reliability, availability and performance.
- Perform daily database health checks, backup and recovery operations.
- Handle database installation, patching, upgrades, compliance and security management.
- Provide technical support for C++ applications running on Linux environments.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Monitor batch jobs and workflows using Control-M.
- Troubleshoot failed jobs and ensure timely completion of scheduled activities.
- Collaborate with application and peripheral teams to monitor and optimize new releases.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand support requirements and provide timely resolutions.
- Monitor system alerts and proactively address potential incidents.
