Role Description
This is a full-time on-site architectural and design-based role located in Hyderabad for an Intermediate Architect/Designer (3-5 years experience). The Intermediate Architect or Designer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with architectural or interior design, project execution, and project management.
NOTE
Interviews will be In-Person/ At the office only. No remote or freelance opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Design Development: Lead the development of design concepts, translating ideas into detailed architectural plans and drawings. Collaborate with senior architects to refine and enhance design solutions.
- Construction Documentation: Oversee the preparation of construction documents, ensuring they meet regulatory standards, codes, and project requirements. Coordinate with consultants to integrate their input into the overall documentation.
- Code Compliance and Regulation: Take the lead in researching and applying local building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements to ensure project compliance. Guide junior team members in navigating code-related challenges.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a deeper understanding of technical aspects related to architecture, including construction systems, materials, and detailing. Provide technical support to junior team members.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including engineers, interior designers, and consultants. Act as a bridge between junior architects and senior leadership, fostering effective communication.
- Sustainability Integration: Incorporate sustainable design principles into projects, advocating for environmentally conscious practices and materials. Stay updated on emerging sustainability trends and technologies.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with projects and propose mitigation strategies. Work with the project team to manage and minimize risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Management: Take on greater responsibility for project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints.
- Quality Control: Review and ensure the quality of architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documents. Conduct quality control checks to uphold firm standards.
- Construction Administration: Take an active role in construction administration, including site visits, coordination with contractors, and addressing construction-related issues. Ensure the design intent is maintained during the construction phase.
- Problem Resolution: Address complex design and construction challenges, using experience and expertise to find innovative solutions. Collaborate with the project team to overcome obstacles.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Take on leadership responsibilities by mentoring junior architects, providing guidance, and fostering their professional development. Lead by example and contribute to a positive work culture.
- Proposal and Business Development Support: Assist in the preparation of project proposals and contribute to business development efforts. Showcase the firm's capabilities and expertise to potential clients.
- Client Interaction: Interact directly with clients to understand their requirements, present design concepts, and address feedback. Manage client expectations and build positive relationships.
- Continued Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development, attending industry conferences, workshops, and training programs. Stay abreast of new technologies, design methodologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- Project Management skills
- Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other architectural design software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with LEED certification is a plus
- Fluent use of Rhino+Grasshopper, VRay/Corona a plus.
- Experience with BIM is a plus
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in architecture and interior design
