Role Description The Interior QS and Billing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for managing quantity surveying and end-to-end billing activities for interior projects. The role includes preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and budgets, tracking material and labor quantities, and verifying contractor and vendor bills against actual work completed. The manager will oversee the billing process, ensure accurate invoicing, coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and accounts for timely payment processing, and maintain detailed billing records. Day-to-day tasks also involve monitoring project costs, identifying variances, supporting revenue and cash flow planning, and generating periodic MIS reports. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, compliance with company standards, and smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Strong billing process, invoicing, and billing systems skills, with experience managing project-based billing in construction or interior contracting environments.
- Solid analytical skills and exposure to revenue cycle management, including cost tracking, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of quantity surveying for interior works, including BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and verification of site measurements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and billing/accounting software; ability to work with large data sets and create structured reports.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in interior contracting, fit-out, or construction projects, preferably in commercial and corporate interiors.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with site teams, vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
