We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Purchase Manager to manage procurement activities for interior design and execution projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, vendor management, cost control, and ensuring timely delivery of products required for residential and commercial interior projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle procurement of interior materials, furniture, hardware, lighting, laminates, plywood, veneer, paint, décor items, etc.
- Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers for best pricing and quality.
- Compare quotations and prepare purchase orders.
- Maintain relationships with existing vendors and develop new vendor networks.
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, designers, and accounts teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials at project sites.
- Track inventory and maintain purchase records and invoices.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and material availability.
- Control procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Resolve vendor and supply-related issues efficiently.
- Conduct material quality checks before dispatch or delivery.
- Prepare procurement reports and MIS updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Interior Design, or related field.
- 2–7 years of experience in interior or construction procurement.
- Strong knowledge of interior materials and vendor management.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Excel, ERP software, and purchase documentation.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong coordination and management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential and commercial interior projects.
- Understanding of BOQ and project costing.
- Vendor development and cost optimization expertise.
- Site coordination knowledge.
