Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Draftsperson role based in Central Delhi. The Interior Draftsperson will translate design concepts into detailed 2D and 3D drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, joinery details, and construction documents. The role involves preparing and updating working drawings, coordinating with designers to resolve design and technical issues, and ensuring drawings reflect site conditions and execution needs. The Interior Draftsperson will collaborate with contractors, vendors, and project managers to clarify specifications, dimensions, and materials, and will participate in site visits to verify measurements and monitor drawing adherence. The position requires maintaining organized drawing sets, adhering to project timelines, and supporting the studio’s focus on precision, buildability, and ultra-luxury detailing.
Qualifications
- Strong technical drafting skills using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) with the ability to produce detailed, construction-ready drawings.
- Experience preparing interior layouts, joinery details, reflected ceiling plans, and lighting, electrical, and plumbing drawings for high-end residential projects.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, structural drawings, and services drawings, and coordinate them into cohesive interior documentation.
- Knowledge of interior materials, finishes, hardware, and fittings, including their practical application, tolerance requirements, and site feasibility.
- Strong sense of proportion, spatial understanding, and detail orientation, with comfort working to fine tolerances and exacting design standards.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with designers, contractors, and vendors, and to respond to feedback constructively.
- Ability to conduct accurate site measurements, update drawings based on site conditions, and support site coordination to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with prior experience in luxury or high-end residential interiors preferred.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple drawing packages and deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-driven studio environment
