Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Draftsperson role based in Gurugram. The Interior Draftsperson will translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings and production-ready furniture plans using CAD and related drafting software. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing layout drawings, joinery details, and 3D views; coordinating with designers, project managers, and workshop teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility; and updating drawings based on feedback and site conditions. The role involves reviewing specifications, ensuring measurements align with site realities, and supporting smooth execution from design through installation. The Interior Draftsperson will maintain organized drawing documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of drafting standards and workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience of 3-4 years
- Strong proficiency in CAD and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) for interior layouts, furniture details, and technical drawings.
- Applied knowledge of interior design principles, materials, finishes, and joinery details relevant to luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.
- Skills in reading and interpreting architectural plans, taking accurate measurements, and coordinating drawings with site conditions.
- Attention to detail, ability to maintain drawing quality standards, and strong organizational skills for documentation and version control.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with designers, project managers, and workshop teams.
- Prior experience as an interior draftsperson or furniture drafting professional; experience in bespoke or turnkey furniture manufacturing is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Drafting, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
