Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Interior Designer at buildAhome™. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to conceptualize and execute interior spaces, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and alignment with client requirements. The role involves creating space plans, developing design concepts, preparing construction drawings, and overseeing the selection of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). The Designer will work closely with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely project delivery with high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.
• Proficiency in Architecture and Construction Drawings to establish detailed, accurate project plans.
• Experience in selecting and coordinating Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E).
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills to understand and execute client requirements effectively.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
