Your Role:
We are looking for an ambitious Interior Designer/Junior Architect to join our creative and friendly team at Living Avenue Furniture and Interiors.
What You Will Do?
As an Interior Designer/Junior Architect you will:
- Assist in the preparation of high-quality designs including mood boards, layouts, and material/product boards in order to deliver high-quality designs to our clients
- Attend site visits whenever required to foster positive client and contractor relationships and ensure projects run smoothly
- Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed
- Coordinate with the sales team
- Design residential and commercial spaces
- Involve with all phases of the design process, including concept design, schematic design, design development, specification, and execution
- Support the team with projects from concept to completion, developing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships
- Prepare plans, elevations, details, and sections through to detailed construction drawings
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture / Interior design (or) A diploma in a relevant field
- Previous experience in the field would be an added advantage
- Creative mindset – obsession with design and new trends
- Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and all installations
- Proficient in Auto CAD, Sketch Up, 3Ds Max, Photoshop, and other relevant design software
- Proficient in rendering software like VRay, Lumion and Corona is a plus
What You Will Have?
- A keen eye for aesthetics
- A good understanding of the industry and luxury experience would be a plus
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Communication and presentation skills
- Creative talent and imagination
- Detail-oriented with a perfectionist attitude
- Demonstrable experience creating designs for online and print use
- Excellent visual communication skills
- Extensive/Strong knowledge of the above-mentioned design software- including Microsoft Office Suite
- Project management skills
- Team Player
