Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Designer Intern located in Mumbai, India. The intern will support design projects by creating construction drawings, assisting with space planning, and contributing to interior design initiatives. They will collaborate with team members to source FF&E, contribute to creative design solutions, and ensure project deliverables align with client expectations. Hands-on learning in architecture and interior detailing will be a focus of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design, with a strong sense of aesthetics and functionality.
- Ability to create and interpret Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience or familiarity with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection and coordination.
- Foundational knowledge or educational background in Architecture and related disciplines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in design tools and software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar, is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
