Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer (intern) role based in Bengaluru. The intern will support senior designers in developing design concepts, assisting with space planning, and preparing mood boards and presentations for residential and commercial projects. Daily tasks include drafting and updating interior layouts, assisting in creating construction drawings, coordinating with vendors for materials and finishes, and helping to select FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). The intern will also contribute to 3D visualization support, site visits for measurements and progress checks, and documentation of design revisions. Collaboration with the design and project execution teams will be essential to ensure that design intent is accurately translated into completed spaces. Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to develop functional, aesthetically pleasing layouts.
- Candidates should possess foundational Architecture knowledge and the ability to support Construction Drawings for interior projects.
- Candidates should possess FF&E skills, including basic understanding of furniture, fixtures, finishes, and material selection.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar 3D tools) and basic MS Office skills.
- Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to follow design guidelines and instructions accurately.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to learn through on-site coordination, client interactions, and team collaboration.
- Portfolio or academic project samples demonstrating design thinking and technical drawing abilities are highly beneficial.
