Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Interior Designer will work on residential and select commercial projects, translating client requirements into functional and visually appealing concepts. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing layouts and 3D visualizations, and collaborating on construction drawings and detailed design documentation. The role involves selecting materials, finishes, FF&E, and conducting site visits to track progress and maintain design quality. The Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, present design proposals, prepare quotations, incorporate feedback, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with the ability to translate client needs into creative, practical design solutions.
- Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize layouts for function, flow, and comfort in residential and commercial environments.
- Experience preparing Construction Drawings and technical documentation suitable for execution by contractors and vendors.
- Knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), including sourcing, specifications, and coordination with suppliers.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, lumion, V Ray, Revit, or similar), and strong visual presentation skills.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and handle client interactions professionally.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and willingness to conduct regular site visits in the Greater Bengaluru Area.
