Role Description The Interior Designer will work full time on-site in Jaipur, collaborating with clients and internal teams to design functional and visually appealing residential and commercial spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing layout plans, creating mood boards, and selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings aligned with ZILMAA’s product offerings. The role involves preparing detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and conducting site visits to oversee implementation and resolve design or fit-out issues. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, present design proposals, incorporate feedback, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to create functional, aesthetic layouts tailored to client needs.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to translate concepts into clear, buildable plans and documentation.
- Experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, including materials, finishes, and product coordination.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.
- Relevant education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines on-site.
- Prior experience in interior projects involving partitions, modular kitchens, or office interiors is beneficial.
