Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer based in Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating innovative and functional workspace designs that align with client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, developing construction drawings, selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and collaborating with architects and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. The role requires attention to detail, creativity, and adherence to project timelines. The professional will also participate in meetings with clients to discuss requirements and present design concepts.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create innovative and functional workspace solutions
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings for developing and executing design projects
- Expertise in selecting and specifying Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) to align with project aesthetics and functionality
- Strong organizational and project management skills to meet timelines and manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills for client interactions and design proposals
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience in corporate or coworking space design is a plus
- An understanding of material selection and sustainability in design is an advantage
