Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Indore. The Interior Designer will be responsible for planning and designing functional, aesthetically pleasing coworking and office spaces that align with Workie’s brand and user needs. Day-to-day tasks include developing space plans, preparing design concepts and mood boards, coordinating with architects and contractors, and creating detailed construction drawings. The role also involves selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), preparing cost estimates, and overseeing implementation to ensure quality and design consistency. The Interior Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to adapt spaces to evolving professional needs and user feedback.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills.
- Candidates should have experience in Architecture and understanding of building systems.
- Candidates should be proficient in preparing accurate Construction Drawings and documentation.
- Candidates should demonstrate expertise in FF&E selection, specification, and coordination.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
- Strong visual, creative, and conceptual design abilities, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external vendors.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in commercial or coworking spaces is an advantage.
