Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Noida. The Interior Designer will develop concepts and layouts, create mood boards, and prepare detailed space plans aligned with client requirements and budgets. The role involves producing and coordinating construction drawings, collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure accurate execution, and selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) that meet design and functional standards. The Interior Designer will conduct site visits, oversee installation and finishing, and ensure design quality and timelines are maintained. The role also includes client presentations, material and sample coordination, and staying current with interior design trends, materials, and technologies.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client needs into functional, aesthetic layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read, prepare, and coordinate detailed design documentation.
- Experience with FF&E selection and specification, including furniture, lighting, finishes, and decorative elements.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with 3D visualization tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong project coordination, time management, and site supervision skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, modular furniture, and residential/commercial fit-out practices in the Indian market is an advantage.
