Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Mumbai. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare detailed space plans, and translate brand and client requirements into functional and aesthetically compelling interior environments. Responsibilities include creating and reviewing construction drawings, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and collaborating with architects, graphic designers, and digital teams to deliver cohesive customer-centric experiences. The role involves site visits, coordination with vendors and contractors, and monitoring project progress to ensure quality, timelines, and budget adherence. The Interior Designer will also participate in client presentations, incorporate feedback, and stay informed about design trends, materials, and innovative solutions relevant to retail and commercial spaces.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional, brand-aligned layouts.
- Candidates should possess practical Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to translate concepts into buildable, detailed plans.
- Candidates should possess FF&E expertise, including selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, and equipment appropriate to project requirements.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Experience in retail, commercial, or hospitality interiors, with an understanding of customer experience and brand environments.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with external partners.
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and readiness to work on-site in Mumbai as required by project schedules.
