Company Description The Design Frame is an interior design studio focused on creating functional, aesthetically balanced spaces for residential and commercial clients. The team works closely with clients to understand their lifestyle, brand, and spatial needs, translating them into cohesive design concepts. The studio emphasizes thoughtful space planning, detail-oriented execution, and collaboration with consultants and contractors. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Ahmedabad. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare mood boards and presentations, and collaborate with clients to refine project requirements and styles. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, producing detailed drawings and documentation, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and working with vendors and contractors during execution. The role also involves site visits, quality checks, and alignment of the design with project timelines and budgets. The Interior Designer will work closely with the design team to ensure that all deliverables meet The Design Frame’s standards of functionality, aesthetics, and safety.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Architecture and spatial relationships.
- Candidates should possess the ability to create and interpret detailed Construction Drawings.
- Candidates should possess experience in FF&E selection, specifications, and coordination.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
- Candidates should possess strong visualization, presentation, and client communication skills.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, time management abilities, and capability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
- A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and prior experience in residential or commercial projects, would be beneficial.
