Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Gurugram. The Interior Designer will translate client briefs into functional and aesthetically cohesive design concepts, including space planning, material selection, and FF&E specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing floor plans, mood boards, and 3D visualizations; preparing detailed construction and interior drawings; coordinating with contractors, vendors, and consultants; and ensuring designs are executed as planned on site. The role involves conducting site visits, supervising implementation, managing design documentation, and adhering to sustainability and energy-efficiency guidelines. The Interior Designer will collaborate closely with the studio’s architecture and master planning teams to deliver integrated, high-quality design solutions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Space Planning and Interior Design skills, with the ability to balance functionality, aesthetics, and client requirements.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Architecture principles, including coordination with structural and MEP aspects of projects.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in preparing detailed Construction Drawings and documentation for execution on site.
- Candidates should possess experience with FF&E selection, including finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with design concepts and budgets.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of rendering tools.
- Strong communication, client presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills, with attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, conduct regular site visits, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential and hospitality projects is an advantage.
